Academy of Surgical Microscopic Clinical Dentistry
President
Katsuhiko Akiyama
The Academy of Surgically Microscopic Clinical Dentistry was established in 2016 as
an academic society for dentists and dental hygienists who have mastered or wish to
master the next-generation technique, the Three Step Akiyama Method (The Micro
Endoscopic Technique Akiyama Method).
This academic society was established with the belief that we would like to save many
patients by applying surgical microscopes to all dental treatments and providing
advanced dental treatment.
In addition, the Society's major purpose is to cultivate dental leaders not only in Japan but also around the world in the clinical application of surgical microscope dentistry,
and aims to contribute to the world by educating overseas dentists.
Our true mission is to save patients around the world, and our goal is to spread our
techniques not only within Japan but also around the world. In the future, we would
like to save the lives of as many patients as possible around the world by developing a
surgical microscope specializing in the Three Step Akiyama method and extending its
benefits not only to dentistry but to a wide range of medical fields. That's what I think.
